Xilegu Kids Unpowered Planet Park focuses on "Interstellar Games" facilities designed to be accessible, inclusive, and physically challenging at various levels. It also includes spaces for community gatherings and activities, all aimed at improving physical and mental well-being as well as social health.
We envisioned an outdoor playground with diverse play options that would be engaging for both adults and children. We wanted it to be a place where families could spend quality time together and where kids would always find something fun to do. To create such an attractive outdoor play area for kids, we settled on a theme full of childlike wonder and imagination: climbing planets. The outdoor play park covers 25,000 square meters of play area, featuring over 10 themed zones and more than 20 hidden spots, and includes various types of play such as contextual, rope climbing, slides, and sensory experiences. Here, unique play installations and public art give Xilegu a strong sense of place.
The Interstellar Spaceship is the visual centerpiece of the park, noted for its sculptural and playful design. It combines various activities such as sliding, climbing, crawling, and hiding. We arranged the play routes to vary in difficulty, ensuring a balanced and engaging play experience.
Climbing the colorful spiral stairs leads to the Interstellar Spaceship, where children can embark on a UFO journey. The unique space theme design also connects to the "Shenzhou V" spacecraft, offering kids the chance to explore the mysteries of the universe while having fun.
We transformed a relatively unused sloped lawn into a dynamic interactive environment. The steep slope uses innovative design solutions to create a series of hill-shaped play spaces known as the "Meteorite Slope"
Whether looking up or down, visitors are visually attracted and naturally move through each play space, promoting physical health and community interaction. The Meteorite Slope Area features a meteorite crater with creative climbing structures, rope nets, balance beams, and zip lines.
The Time Tunnel is designed to help children develop their climbing, running, and sliding skills over varied terrain. The platform rises and dips, creating a unique wave-like structure that adds continuity to the play space, allowing children to freely traverse this "time tunnel."
This area features trampolines for spacewalking and cloud jumping. Entering this themed zone allows visitors to activate every cell in their body, sweeping away worries and stress. The structure is filled with energy through twists and jumps, responding to spontaneous movements and amplifying the joyful spirit of the visitors.
For many, the word "swing" evokes childhood memories. This time, we decided to extend that joy! The Dream Swings area has swings suitable for all ages. Children can enjoy the fun, and adults can swing back to their carefree childhood days.
To reach the coveted peak, children are provided with challenges in the form of climbing walls, slides, and rope nets.
Star Island Adventure is perfect for younger children. The equipment is cute and innovative, and the ground patterns are colorful. On this "Star Island," children can gain knowledge in an atmosphere full of novelty.
With two jungle trekking routes, visitors can enjoy different natural landscapes. It not only builds courage but also witnesses growth, making it an unforgettable outdoor self-challenge.
On the Interstellar Continent, children can run freely on the green lawns and explore the unknown joys of galactic roaming and speed slides.
