Wuhan Jiangxia Nongjiafanwan Guesthouse

Overview

"Lin Yu Future Village" is nestled in Nongjiafanwan, along Lijiadian Road in Jiangxia District, Wuhan. It strikes a perfect balance between ruggedness and refinement, blending rural simplicity with recreational elements. Preserving the unspoiled charm of the countryside, it is an ideal retreat for nature lovers and children who enjoy the raw beauty of an ecological environment. The guesthouse features a 1,500-square-meter forest playground that offers an immersive experience.

Design Concept

The designer incorporated the rural aesthetics of Nongjiafanwan, seamlessly integrating a playground into the guesthouse setting. Using local elements such as wheat ears, flowers, birds, and lotus leaves, the design creates a harmonious connection between the playground and its surroundings. Slide equipment and maze panels are adorned with illustrations of the IP character "Fan Xiaosui" and stories of traditional farming, allowing children to learn about nature while playing.

Project Highlights

Forest Playground

At the heart of the playground are towering tree-like columns topped with swaying "wheat ears," symbolizing hard work and a bountiful harvest. Wooden railings along the aerial walkways feature story graphics and educational panels with crop-growing knowledge. These subtle details offer children an opportunity to learn about agriculture while exploring the space.

Cinderella Maze

Expanding the play area beneath the trees, the "Cinderella Maze" challenges young adventurers with an intricate path designed to enhance spatial awareness, memory, and focus. Solving puzzles and navigating the complex maze routes requires concentration and strategic thinking.

Music Cottage

Equipped with rhythm chimes, instructional pipe xylophones, and elite drums, this interactive musical area allows children to experiment with sound and rhythm. By improvising melodies, they can discover the joy of music and create their own natural symphony.

Climbing Adventure

A 15-meter-long undulating climbing net, flanked by curved steel pipes for stability, offers a safe and engaging physical activity. The climbing net, made from marine-grade ropes with six strands of steel wire, ensures secure weight support. As children climb, they develop their core strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility.
